This is a History of The Dyer County Amateur Radio Association
(Previosly The Dyersburg Amateur Radio Club)

The Club was Founded Around 1968.The First meetings were held at the Tom Sheets TV Repair  Shop on Reynolds Ave next to the
Action Rentals store. There were 4 Ham Radio Operators
in Dyersburg At that time.

These Gentleman setup the first 2 Meter Repeater in Dyer County
Which has been in Service for over 40 Years   146.745- mhz  Pl 88.5

Since then:
We held meetings at the
West Dyersburg Church of Christ
The First Citizens National Bank Annex
The Present  Dyer County  Rescue Squad

Interim Meetings were held At the Air Port Restraunt
and at The Previous RYANS Steak House
